1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to Idum iPhone and Mac applications distributed on the Apple App Store (the “Apps”), including OctoJson and other apps listed at games.idum.app. It does not describe the games.idum.app website itself; see our site privacy policy for that.
By downloading or using an App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Summary
Our Apps are designed to work primarily on your device. We do not require an Idum account to use them. We do not sell your personal information. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in our Apps.
3. Data we collect
Information you provide in the App. Content you open, paste, or create in an App (for example JSON text or files you choose) is processed on your device to provide app functionality. We do not receive that content on Idum servers unless a specific App feature clearly states otherwise (such as optional cloud sync you turn on).
Information we may collect. If you contact us for support, we collect the information you send (such as your email address and message). We may collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure our services, such as app version and crash diagnostics if you opt in to share diagnostics with developers through Apple.
Information we do not collect. We do not ask for your name, postal address, or phone number to use our Apps. We do not collect precise location data for advertising purposes.
4. How we use information
We use information only to:
- provide and improve App features;
- respond to support requests;
- fix bugs and maintain security;
- comply with legal obligations.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing. We may share information with service providers who help us operate support or infrastructure, under contracts that require them to protect your data consistent with this policy.
Apple. Purchases, subscriptions, and App Store processes are handled by Apple. Apple’s privacy practices apply to those interactions. Optional Apple services you enable (such as iCloud, iCloud Drive, or sharing diagnostics) are governed by Apple’s policies.
6. Retention and deletion
Data stored only on your device remains under your control; you can delete it by removing content in the App or uninstalling the App. Support correspondence is kept only as long as needed to resolve your request and meet legal requirements, then deleted or anonymized.
To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, contact us using the details in Section 10. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (for example GDPR or CCPA).
7. Children
Our Apps are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or on this page.
